Abstract

Based on Stewart platform, a 6-DOF parallel stable platform for photoelectric radar was designed. The parametric model of the stabilized platform is established and the kinematics and dynamics simulation are carried out. The correctness of the model is verified by analytical solution. Taking the main design parameters of the platform structure as design variables, the influence of each variable on the demand value of output force of the stabilized platform electric cylinder and its sensitivity are analyzed. On this basis, the optimal design of the structure size of the platform is carried out to minimize the demand value of the output force of the electric cylinder under the limit condition. After optimization, the minimum value of the platform’s demand for output force of the electric cylinder is reduced from 5890.16 N to 3731.48 N. According to the optimization results, the 6-DOF parallel stable platform is built, and the experience shows that the platform meets the design requirements.
