Abstract

In the field of strategic management, the study of dynamic capabilities has become a hot spot and focus of researchers’ attention. This paper reviews and analyzes the theoretical background, connotation definition, influencing factors, and impact on enterprise performance of dynamic capabilities. First, this paper points out that current research mainly defines dynamic capabilities from two perspectives, one is from the perspective of capabilities and the other is from the perspective of processes. Then, this paper sorts out some of the factors that influence dynamic capabilities, including factors such as the firm's resource base, top management team, and organizational learning mechanisms. In addition, this paper discusses the impact of dynamic capabilities on firm performance, including direct and indirect effects. Finally, the future research directions are prospected in view of the shortcomings of existing studies.
