Abstract

The frequency converter is a typical power electronic device, which is very sensitive to the fluctuation of the input AC voltage. If the input voltage drops to a certain extent, it will affect the operation of the inverter and the amplitude of the output voltage, which will affect the motor load. In severe cases, the generator set may trip. It can be seen that whether the inverter can achieve low voltage ride through becomes very critical in safe production. This article analyzes the working principle of the general frequency converter power circuit and the study of the motor load working characteristics, and analyzes the operation mechanism of the frequency converter when the input voltage fluctuates. The operation characteristics of the motor under the condition of input voltage fluctuation are deeply discussed, combined with different load types, the dynamic operation of the motor is analyzed, and the influence of the voltage sag on the system is evaluated.
