In the past, these achievements have played an important scientific role in supporting China's ecological and environmental protection, and produced extensive social impacts and significant environmental benefits. At the same time, the relevant research ideas and methods also show the latest progress and trend in the field of environmental strategy and planning in China in recent years, which can be used for reference by experts and scholars of other countries in the field of ecological environment.

Reviews

“The book extensively describes the transformation from pollution discharge fee to the environmental protection tax, which is and will greatly impact the driving forces and game rules of Chinese environmental protection. As one Chinese environmental protection worker, I think this is not only a reference for the researcher and regulator who are interested in Chinese environmental protection but also a handbook for the investor or entrepreneur who is conducting or intends to conduct business in the Chinese market.” (Rong Zhi‐Yi, Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management, Vol. 18 (4), 2022)
