Abstract

The higher education system is an important part of the social and economic progress of a country and should be monitored from time to time to identify its shortcomings and suggest measures for its growth. In this paper, we used a linear programming-based, multi-criteria decision-making technique, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), to assess the relative efficiency of 14 different regions and states of Myanmar over three academic years 2015, 2016, and 2017.
