Abstract
Non-invasive skin tightening procedures is gaining increasing popularity as patients seek safe and effective ways to preserve youthful taut-looking face, neck, and body. Micro-focused ultrasound has been proved to be an effective and safe modality for transcutaneous energy delivery that reaches the deeper connective tissue at consistent programmed depths. The goal is to produce a deeper collagen stimulatory effect at multiple levels, causing robust collagen remodelling. The micro-focused ultrasound has been adapted specifically for skin tightening and lifting with little recovery or risk of complications. The results and clinical parameters are well studied, with consistent efficacy and durable clinical outcomes.
