Abstract

The rapid growth of new technologies has led to the development of new skills and competitiveness at the global level. People with higher educational qualifications and nations with a large proportion of educated people, naturally, take advantage of the increasing opportunities from the global economy. Secondary education, a decisive stage in the educational hierarchy, prepares the students for higher education and also for the world of work. Classes IX and X constitute the secondary stage, whereas Classes XI and XII are designated as the higher secondary stage.
