Abstract
Fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) is the most useful technique available to diagnose thyroid nodules. Recent progress in ultrasound-guided FNAB has enabled us to detect even very small thyroid nodules. Although FNAB is generally a safe technique, several complications have been reported. In this chapter, the prominent complications of FNAB are described.
