Abstract
Women entrepreneurs in developed countries enjoy an advantage over those in developing countries in that they have access to greater support from women mentors and role models and easier access to formal training in the principles of business planning and organisation. Furthermore, access to capital and the acceptance of women as business owners and women in the workplace has dramatically improved.
