Abstract
This case study tells the story of fostering creativity in the science classroom through the lens of a gifted physician and now retired U.S. Army Brigadier General who was “unidentified” as gifted while a student and includes a series of informal interviews that illuminate the participant’s formative elementary, middle, and high school and college experiences from 1936–1952.
