Abstract
In this chapter, I initially consider the challenges facing career counselling and assessment in the present times. This is followed by a broad overview of how the discipline of career psychology has responded to these challenges to date and some generic themes that have emerged from such responses. I then describe a specific example of the development and application of a qualitative career counselling and assessment reflective process for adults.
