Abstract
With Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān al-Israeli, generally known as Isaac Israeli, the philosophical season of the Jewish Middle Ages begins. Integrating, in Jewish thought, philosophical ideas drawn from Greek and Arabic sources, Isaac Israeli gives us the first, albeit not very original, testimony of Jewish Neoplatonism.
