Abscisic Acid: Metabolism, Transport and Signaling

Abstract

The phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) regulates many aspects of plant development and adaptation to environmental stresses. Molecular genetics studies have significantly advanced our understanding on the molecular basis of ABA signaling in seeds and seedlings. In this book chapter, we review recent advances on the cross talk of signaling pathways between ABA and other phytohormones.
