Abstract
This chapter provides a brief introduction to a volume which encompasses the outcome of a research project at the Tilburg Law and Economics Center on the future of national legal systems in the era of globalization. The chapter introduces the research questions answered and the research methods used in subsequent chapters of the book.
Pierre Larouche is Professor of Competition Law, Tilburg Law School, Tilburg University, and a founding director of the Tilburg Law and Economics Center (TILEC). Péter Cserne is Senior Lecturer, Hull Law School, University of Hull. He contributed to the project while an Assistant Professor, Department of International and European Public Law, Tilburg Law School, Tilburg University, and a member of TILEC.
