Bij de jersey finger ruptureert de flexorpees van de distale falanx. Herkenning van deze aandoening is van groot belang. De jersey finger moet namelijk snel geopereerd worden om blijvend functieverlies van de vinger te voorkomen. Dit hoofdstuk beschrijft een voorbeeldcasus van de jersey finger, de bevindingen bij het onderzoek, de therapie en de revalidatie na de operatie.
