Samenvatting

Huid- en nagelafwijkingen komen bij reumatische aandoeningen veel voor. De meest voorkomende huidafwijkingen zijn overmatige eeltvorming en likdoorns. Beide ontstaan als gevolg van druk en wrijving op de huid. Een pedicure kan deze symptomatisch behandelen, maar om herhaling te voorkomen is het essentieel de oorzaak aan te pakken. Naast overmatige eeltvorming en likdoorns kan iemand met een reumatische aandoening ook andere huid- en nagelafwijkingen hebben. In dit hoofdstuk beschrijven we huid- en nagelafwijkingen per reumatische aandoening. Wanneer specifieke adviezen of behandeling in de zorg voor de voeten nodig is, hebben we dat beschreven.
