Somatisch onvoldoende verklaarde lichamelijke klachten (SOLK)

Samenvatting

Er wordt gesproken van somatisch onvoldoende verklaarde lichamelijke klachten wanneer lichamelijke klachten worden gepresenteerd die langer dan enkele weken bestaan en waarbij bij adequaat medisch onderzoek geen somatische aandoening wordt gevonden die de klachten voldoende verklaart. Bij sommige patiënten met lichamelijke klachten wordt wel een somatische aandoening gevonden, maar zijn de klachten ernstiger of langduriger ofwel beperken ze het functioneren van de patiënt sterker dan op grond van de aandoening te verwachten is. Ook dan kunnen we spreken van SOLK. Daarom staat in de definitie van SOLK ook somatisch onvoldoende verklaarde lichamelijke klachten en niet onverklaarde lichamelijke klachten.

Onder adequaat medisch onderzoek wordt een zorgvuldig uitgevoerde anamnese en een volledig lichamelijk onderzoek verstaan al of niet aangevuld met een in eerste instantie beperkt laboratoriumonderzoek.

In 2011 verscheen de multidisciplinaire GGZ-richtlijn Somatisch onvoldoende verklaarde lichamelijke klachten (SOLK) en somatoforme stoornissen.
