Abstract
Posterior scleritis is the rarest form of scleritis that is usually unilateral, associated with pain, diminution of vision, and swelling. This condition can present with a wide range of clinical findings which may be confused for other entities such as orbital tumors, intraocular inflammation, and noninflammatory ocular diseases. Bilateral cases have also been reported in literature. Adequate systemic corticosteroid therapy and immunosuppression help in resolution of the condition.
