Zusammenfassung
Die bisherigen Kapitel haben grundlegende Aspekte quantitativer Methoden behandelt, die verschiedenen Verfahren zur Datenerhebung (Kap. 2) sowie die zentralen methodischen Zugänge zur Beantwortung von Forschungsfragen wie das Experiment oder Zusammenhangsstudien (Kap. 3). Der Forschungsprozess endet aber natürlich keineswegs mit der Auswahl einer geeigneten Forschungsmethode und der Datenerhebung, sondern beinhaltet auch die Datenaufbereitung (Abschn. 4.1) und die anschließende Datenanalyse mit deskriptiver Statistik (Abschn. 4.2) und oft auch mit inferenzstatistischen Methoden (Abschn. 4.3).
