Zusammenfassung
Die Abklärung von Gedeihstörungen im Säuglings- und Kindesalter zählt zu den klassischen Aufgaben des Kinderarztes. Differenzialdiagnostisch kommen hier eine Vielzahl von Ursachen in Frage, die der genauen Evaluation bedürfen, u. a. metabolische Störungen, neuropädiatrische Erkrankungen, immunologisch-rheumatologische Erkrankungen oder auch soziale Probleme. Das hier vorgestellte Kind stammt – wenig verwunderlich – aus der Kinderrheumatologie und zeigt uns, dass auch bereits Säuglinge klinisch manifest an klassischen autoinflammatorischen Erkrankungen erkrankt sein können.
