Abstract

Reactive nitrogen species are a class of reactive molecules with oxidant. The chapter introduced some reactive nitrogen species, containing nitrogen dioxide, nitric oxide, peroxynitrous acid, and peroxynitrite. The chemiluminescence properties of the reactive nitrogen species have been reviewed and their applications have been mentioned.
