Zusammenfassung
Endoskopische Untersuchungen außerhalb der regulären Arbeitszeiten sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil des gastroenterologischen Bereitschaftsdienstes und müssen zeitnah verfügbar sein. Die Durchführung der Endoskopie obliegt dabei in aller Regel dem diensthabenden Fach- bzw. Oberarzt, weswegen auf die Details zur Durchführung der einzelnen Untersuchungen hier verzichtet wird. Auch die Entscheidungen über Indikation, Untersuchungszeitpunkt und Wahl der endoskopischen Methode werden oft durch den Hintergrunddienst getroffen. Wichtig für die bestmögliche Versorgung im Notfall ist daher die Zusammenstellung und Kommunikation von denjenigen Informationen, welche für die Entscheidung über eine Endoskopie relevant sind.
