Zusammenfassung
Die Atemtherapie ist eine weitverbreitete und entsprechend facettenreiche Therapieform, welche auch in der Physiotherapie vielseitig Verwendung findet. Das folgende Kapitel stellt die Prinzipien der Atemtherapie anhand eines Überblicks über physiotherapeutische Anwendungsbereiche dar, zeigt deren zugrunde liegenden Problemstellungen auf, erläutert daraus ableitbare Zielsetzungen und beschreibt mögliche Maßnahmen, welche zum Erreichen dieser Zielsetzungen angewendet werden können.
