Zusammenfassung
Viele Anorexie-Patientinnen, die sich in Therapie begeben, profitieren von der Akutbehandlung, erreichen eine Gewichtszunahme und eine Verbesserung der Essstörungssymptomatik. Die Anorexia nervosa zeichnet sich jedoch durch ein hohes Rückfallrisiko aus. Bis zu rund der Hälfte der behandelten Patientinnen erleidet einen Rückfall, häufig bereits im ersten Jahr nach Therapieende. Behandlungs- und Versorgungskonzepte, die spezifisch auf die Verhinderung von Rückfällen abzielen, können den Störungsverlauf der Anorexie verbessern. Dazu gehören angeleitete Selbsthilfe, Psychotherapie und therapeutische Wohngruppen.
