Zusammenfassung

Das Karpaltunnelsyndrom (KTS) als häufigstes und das Kubitaltunnelsyndrom (KUTS, UNE) als zweithäufigstes Engpass-Syndrom bilden die Schwerpunkte der Übersicht über die praktisch wichtigsten, aber auch weitere relevante (Loge-de-Guyon-Syndrom, Supinatortunnel-Syndrom, Wartenberg-Syndrom, Thoracic-Outlet-Syndrom [TOS], Meralgie, Morton-Syndrom, N.-peronaeus-Kompression, Tarsaltunnel-Syndrom) und seltenere (wie Suprascapularis-, N.-interosseus-anterior-, Piriformis-Syndrom, Pudendusneuralgie usw.) Nervenkompressionssyndrome. Neben den klinischen, elektrophysiologischen und bildgebenden Verfahren als Basis für die Indikationsstellung zur Operation werden die verschiedenen operativen Behandlungsverfahren wiederum mit Schwerpunkt auf KTS und KUTS (einschließlich der endoskopischen) beschrieben und durch Bildmaterial unterlegt. Beim KTS werden auch Begleiterkrankungen (z. B. Tendovaginitis stenosans und KTS in der Gravidität, bei chronischer Hämodialyse und Mamma-Ca) berücksichtigt, ebenso wie die beiden S3-Leitlinien (unter Federführung der Auto ren).
