Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel werden Notfälle beschrieben, die ursächlich von den Urgewalten in den Bergen ausgehen: Schnee, Kälte und die Notwendigkeit, sich zum Schutz vor Absturz am Seil zu bewegen, sind die Auslöser für die typischen alpinmedizinischen Notfälle, die im Folgenden behandelt werden. Mehr als andere Notfälle sind sie mit dem Berg und seinen ureigensten Eigenschaften verbunden: Wie keine anderen sind die Notfälle, die in diesem Kapitel beschrieben werden, so sehr abhängig von der richtigen Einschätzung der Umgebung und ihrer Auswirkungen auf den Ausgang der geplanten Unternehmung.<
