Zusammenfassung
Dieses Kapitel beantwortet die Frage nach der Reihenfolge des Vorgehens bei geplanter Kataraktoperation und vorliegenden Hornhautpathologien. Dazu gehört die Kataraktoperation in Zusammenhang mit der perforierenden oder lamellären Hornhauttransplantation auch unter Berücksichtigung eines prä- oder postoperativ hohen Astigmatismus. Neben der torischen Kunstlinse kann dieser auch mithilfe limbusparalleler Keratotomien und Kompressionsnähten oder einer Lochblendenlinse (IC-8) ausgeglichen werden. Zudem wird das Vorgehen bei Vorliegen schwerer Oberflächenirregularitäten wie beispielsweise der Salzmannschen nodulären Hornhautdegeneration oder anderen oberflächlichen Dystrophien dargestellt.
