Zusammenfassung
Therapeutische Hausaufgaben sind ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil jeder verhaltenstherapeutischen Behandlung. Lernen und Entwicklung finden zwischen den Therapiesitzungen statt. Jeder Verhaltenstherapeut muss in der Lage sein, technisch korrekt Hausaufgaben zu geben. Dazu gehört, dass das Ziel der Hausaufgabe unmissverständlich benannt und auch für den Patienten transparent ist. In gegenseitiger Absprache sollten Überforderungen vermieden und Alternativen zur Wahl gestellt werden. Die Betonung liegt auf dem experimentellen Charakter der Übung, um Erfahrungen in der nächsten Stunde zu besprechen und daraus neue Hausaufgaben abzuleiten. Aufzeichnungen zum Realitätsabgleich sind in den stetigen Übungsprozess miteinzubeziehen.
