Zusammenfassung
Primäre Knochentumoren wie das Chondrosarkom, Ewing-Sarkom und das Osteosarkom manifestieren sich im Hinblick auf die jeweilige Entität relativ häufig im Bereich des proximalen Femurs, stellen aber in der Absolutheit der Fälle sicherlich eine Rarität dar. Nach der notwendigen weiten Resektion dieser Tumoren erfolgt die Mehrzahl der Defektrekonstruktionen heutzutage mittels eines proximalen Femurersatzes. Weitaus häufiger treten Knochenmetastasen im Bereich des proximalen Femurs auf und bedürfen bei bestimmten klinischen Konstellationen nach einer weiten, marginalen oder auch intraläsionalen Resektion der Rekonstruktion mittels eines proximalen Femurersatzes.
