Zusammenfassung
XX-Männer mit weiblichem Karyotyp (46,XX) sind phänotypisch männlich und besitzen weder innere noch äußere weibliche Genitalorgane. Die Prävalenz ist mit 1:10.000 bis 1:20.000 deutlich geringer als das Klinefelter-Syndrom. Die meisten XX-Männer weisen eine ursächliche Translokation des SRY-Gens auf (80–90 % SRY-positiv). XX-Männer haben eine schwere Hodenentwicklungsstörung und bilden keine Spermien, so dass eine Hodenbiopsie bei Kinderwunsch nicht indiziert ist. Häufig liegt ein substitutionsbedürftiger Testosteronmangel vor.
Männer mit XYY-Karyotyp werden meist zufällig, z. B. wegen Infertilität, entdeckt, die mit konventionellen oder Verfahren der assistierten Reproduktion behandelt werden können.
