Zusammenfassung
Internet- und mobilbasierte Interventionen übertragen klassischerweise „face to face“ ablaufende therapeutische Prozesse in den virtuellen Raum. Derartige Interventionen weisen eine hohe Flexibilität auf und können entweder alleinstehend oder in Kombination mit klassischer Psychotherapie genutzt werden. Studien belegen die Wirksamkeit internet- und mobilbasierter Interventionen für zahlreiche Störungsbilder, und dass Behandlungen über das Internet Psychotherapien vor Ort nicht unterlegen sind. Bei der Durchführung von internet- und mobilbasierten Interventionen ist unter anderem auf die Passung zwischen Patient und Intervention, die Sicherstellung des Datenschutzes und die ausschließliche Nutzung erwiesenermaßen effektiver Formate zu achten. Mögliche Grenzen internet- und mobilbasierter Interventionen liegen in der eingeschränkten Möglichkeit, in Krisensituationen adäquat eingreifen zu können, sowie in der möglichen Überforderung mancher Patienten durch das hohe Maß an Selbststrukturierung, das in internet- und mobilbasierte Interventionen notwendig ist.
