Management postoperativer Komplikationen in der Schilddrüsenchirurgie

Zusammenfassung

Das Erkennen und Management postoperativer Komplikationen sind essenzieller Bestandteil der Schilddrüsenchirurgie und sollten durch standardisierte diagnostische und therapeutische Algorithmen sichergestellt werden. Neben den frühpostoperativen, vital bedrohlichen Komplikationen (Nachblutung, bilaterale Rekurrensparese, Streptokokken-Sepsis), stellen insbesondere langfristige Beeinträchtigungen der Patienten durch einen postoperativen Hypoparathyreoidismus oder eine Rekurrensparese eine besondere Herausforderung dar. Während bei den akuten, vital bedrohlichen Komplikationen das frühzeitige Erkennen und die umgehende Intervention im Vordergrund stehen, bedürfen die protrahierten oder permanenten Komplikationen, insbesondere an der Schnittstelle zwischen stationärem Aufenthalt und ambulanter Nachbehandlung, einer interdisziplinären Betreuung und Organisation.
