Zusammenfassung

Vaskuläre Malformationen können kombiniert in syndromalen Läsionen auftreten. Häufig sind die Malformationen symptomatisch, ausgedehnt und bedürfen einer aktiven Behandlung. Neben den vaskulären Anteilen ist ein Überwuchs oder anderweitige strukturelle Anomalie in diesen Syndromen gehäuft. Knöcherne Veränderungen oder die genetisch bedingte Neigung zur Entwicklung von Neoplasien kommen ebenfalls regelhaft vor. Insbesondere die Patienten mit einem PTEN-hamartoma Syndromen neigen zur Ausbildung von malignen Neoplasien und bedürfen eines aufwendigen Monitorings. Die Diagnosestellung ist schwierig, da die unterschiedlichen klinischen Befunde (z. B. Hyperthyreose, lokaler Überwuchs, Makrozephalie, „penile freckling“, multiple venöse Malformationen, pes equinus) in einen Kontext zu bringen sind.
