Zusammenfassung
Benigne vaskuläre Tumore sind Gefäßanomalien, die sich durch eine aktive Endothelzellproliferation auszeichnen. Eine Einteilung benigner Gefäßtumore erfolgt anhand der aktuellen Klassifikation durch die International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA). Die infantilen Hämangiome sind die mit Abstand häufigsten benignen vaskulären Tumore im Kindesalter. Durch ihre charakteristische Wachstumsdynamik im Säuglings- und Kleinkindalter können sie u. a. von kongenitalen Hämangiomen abgrenzt werden. Standardtherapie infantiler Hämangiome in kritischer Lokalisation oder mit kompliziertem Verlauf ist die medikamentöse Therapie mit Propranolol. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit bedürfen multifokale infantile Hämangiome (≥5), die mit dem Auftreten hepatischer Hämangiome assoziiert sein können und segmentale infantile Hämangiome im Gesicht und im Lumbosakralbereich, welche mit anderen Fehlbildungen (PHACE(S)-/LUMBAR-Syndrom) einhergehen können.
