Zusammenfassung
Nachahmer oder sogenannte Mimicker sind benigne Läsionen, die aufgrund der Architektur, des Wachstumsmusters oder der zellulären Atypien einem Prostatakarzinom oder einer hochgradigen intraepithelialen Neoplasie der Prostatadrüsen (HGPIN) ähneln. Dazu gehören die normalen anatomischen Strukturen, verschiedene Formen der Atrophie, die sklerosierende Adenose, die Metaplasien des Drüsenepithels, die reaktiven Atypien der Prostatadrüsen im Rahmen der Ischämie, der Entzündung oder nach Bestrahlung. Die Kenntnis solcher Läsionen mit deren zellulären Charakteristika und gegebenenfalls des immunhistologischen Profils erleichtern die Differenzialdiagnose in Zweifelsfällen.
