Die Chirurgie des Transversumkarzinoms ist komplex und vereinigt operative Strategien sowohl der Rechts- als auch der Linkskolonchirurgie. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt Schritt für Schritt das operative Vorgehen sowohl für den offenen als auch den laparoskopischen Zugang auf Grundlage der kompletten mesokolischen Exzision (CME).
