Zusammenfassung
Die standardisierte Beurteilung rheumatischer Erkrankungen bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist wichtiger Bestandteil einer adäquaten kinderrheumatologischen Versorgung. Für Therapiestrategien mit einem Treat-to-target-Ansatz ist die routinemäßige Bewertung der Krankheitsaktivität eine unabdingbare Voraussetzung. Neben den Einschätzungen aus ärztlicher Sicht muss auch die Patientenperspektive berücksichtigt werden. Patienten-berichtete Outcomes liefern wesentliche Informationen zum Therapieansprechen und zur subjektiv empfundenen Krankheitslast. Eine standardisierte Bewertung anhand definierter Scores findet zunehmend auch in Arthrosonografie, Röntgenaufnahmen und Kernspintomografie Anwendung. Das Kapitel fasst Assessment-Tools zur qualitativen und quantitativen Bewertung der Aktivität, Schwere der Ausprägung und Folgen der häufigsten chronischen entzündlich-rheumatischen Erkrankungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter zusammen.
