Zusammenfassung
Das Kapitel bietet einen Überblick zu unterschiedlichen psychologischen und psychotherapeutischen Interventionen, die spezifisch für diese häufig vorkommende Belastungsfolgestörung entwickelt wurden. Dabei werden Interventionen, die nach den Konzeptualisierungen des DSM-5 wie auch nach den Vorschlägen für die diagnostische Kategorie der Anpassungsstörung für die ICD-11 ausgerichtet wurden, gleichermaßen berücksichtigt. Die psychologischen Interventionen für Anpassungsstörungen reichen von niederschwelligen Behandlungsansätzen wie Selbsthilfeinterventionen, Entspannungsverfahren, internetbasierten Interventionen oder Verhaltensaktivierung bis hin zu intensiveren Interventionen wie kognitiver Verhaltenstherapie oder psychodynamischen Ansätzen. Es werden ein kurzer Überblick zur medikamentösen Behandlung, Empfehlungen für die klinische Praxis anhand verschiedener Beispiele und ein Ausblick zu möglicher künftiger Forschung gegeben.
