Zusammenfassung

Die Versorgung von Defekten der Gesichtshaut stellt eine besondere Herausforderung dar. Im Vordergrund steht das Bemühen des Behandlers um eine Wiederherstellung von Ästhetik und Funktion. Hierbei muss den unterschiedlichen Gewebequalitäten verschiedener Gesichtsregionen Rechnung getragen werden. Bei der Planung des Defektverschlusses sollte die Methode gewählt werden, welche mit möglichst geringer Belastung des Patienten zu einem zuverlässigen Endergebnis führt. Generell wird, wenn möglich, die Einbeziehung ortsständigen Gewebes bevorzugt werden. Für die notwendigen Schnittführungen müssen die Hautspannungslinien Berücksichtigung finden, um hierdurch optimale Bedingungen für eine unauffällige Wundheilung zu schaffen.
