Zusammenfassung
Im Kapitel 7 wird die Diagnostik des normalen Gesichts und Halses sowie verschiedener Fehlbildungen beschrieben. Im ersten Teil wird eine Übersicht über die exakte Diagnostik im ersten, zweiten und dritten Trimenon gegeben. Neben den klassischen zweidimensionalen Schnittebenen wird auch auf die 3D-Sonographie und neue Möglichkeiten elektronischer Matrixschallköpfe eingegangen. Im zweiten Teil werden die verschieden Fehlbildungen systematisch aufgearbeitet. Die typischen sonographischen Diagnosekriterien werden dargestellt, ebenso die Begleitfehlbildungen. Es werden Fehlbildungen der Augen, der Nase, der Zunge, des Unterkiefers, das gesamte Spektrum der Gesichtsspaltbildungen sowie Fehlbildungen der Ohren und des Nackens bearbeitet. Zu jeder Fehlbildung erfolgt eine tabellarische Übersicht über die Differenzialdiagnosen und assoziierte Fehlbildungen. Der aktuelle Stand der Diagnostik wird somit dargestellt
