Zusammenfassung
Depressive Episoden stellen für die betroffenen Menschen und ihre Angehörigen, für das Gesundheitssystem und die Gesellschaft sowie für professionelle Therapeuten eine große Herausforderung dar. Eine Vielzahl gut evaluierter Therapieverfahren, machen den Betroffenen und ihren Angehörigen Hoffnung auf Hilfe. Im vorliegenden Buch sollen wissenschaftlich gut evaluierte und klinisch bewährte Therapieverfahren zur Behandlung unipolarer Depressionen anhand von Fallbeispielen und Therapiebausteinen so praxisnah dargestellt werden, dass die konkreten Darstellungen den Leser zum Anwenden ermutigen. Diagnostik und Differenzialdiagnostik der Depression werden im Rahmen dieses Buches nicht erörtert, sondern die Definitionen aus ICD 10 und DSM 5 zugrunde gelegt. Auch depressive Syndrome im Rahmen bipolarer Störungen oder anderer Erkrankungen werden nicht im Rahmen dieses Buches behandelt.
