Zusammenfassung

In dem Maße, in dem Coaching sich als Beratungsformat etabliert und als gängige Personalentwicklungsmaßnahme genutzt wird, wird die Forderung nach Professionalisierung lauter. Ein solches Instrument zur professionellen Weiterentwicklung und Qualitätssicherung ist Supervision. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird zunächst der Begriff Supervision von Coaching definiert und es werden verschiedene Ausprägungsformen von Supervision erläutert. Im Anschluss werden Funktionen und Wirkungen der Supervision von Coaching beschrieben. Zur Veranschaulichung dessen, was Gegenstand der Supervision werden kann, wird das „siebenäugige“ Modell der Supervision von Coaching erläutert. Schließlich wird auf die „Popularität“ und Verbreitung von Supervision eingegangen.
