Circandra N.E.Br. GC 1930: 126; Liede 1990: 473–474; Hartmann 2001: 129; Klak 2007: 27, Figs 22.19, 22.20 Typus Circandra serrata (L.) N.E.Br. Etym Gk kirkos, a ring, aner, andros, male, referring to the ring of short stamens surrounding the gynoecium.
