Zusammenfassung
Das vorliegende Kapitel zeigt Untersuchungen eines entwickelten Reparaturverfahrens von Aluminiumbauteilen. Dieses basiert auf dem Selektiven Laserstrahlschmelzen. Das dargestellte Reparaturverfahren, das sog. Rapid Repair, wird auf Basis einiger Demonstratoren untersucht und Aspekte der Validierung hervorgehoben. Weiterhin werden Anwendungsbereiche definiert, welche neben der Reparatur von bestehenden Komponenten, vor allem in der Herstellung von Hohlteilen zu finden ist. Bei der Herstellung von Hohlteilen ergibt sich dadurch das Potential, die innere Bauteiltopologie durch Strukturelemente zu ergänzen.
Basierend auf unterschiedlichen Case Studies werden die Einsatzmöglichkeiten weiter analysiert. Neben der Beschreibung mechanischer und struktureller Eigenschaften, wird weiterhin die Auswirkung der Positionierung der Bauteile im Bauraum untersucht. Ein abschließendes Fazit zeigt die Einsatzpotentiale des Rapid Repairs auf.
