Rehabilitation von Patienten mit Morbus Parkinson und multipler Sklerose

Zusammenfassung

Einige kontrollierte, prospektive Studien dokumentieren bei Parkinsonpatienten durch regelmäßige körperliche Aktivität eine verbesserte Mobilität und bessere Bewältigung der Aktivitäten des täglichen Lebens Die Bewegungstherapie als sehr wichtige additive Maßnahme spielt eine große Rolle in der Behandlung und Rehabilitation. Bei Patient/innen mit multipler Sklerose kann man in der physikalischen Rehabilitation zwischen direkt krankheitsmodifizierenden Therapien (medikamentöse Therapien) und symptomatisch unterstützenden Therapien unterscheiden. Die Rehabilitation muss auf eine Verbesserung von Aktivität und Partizipation zielen, um die Rolle eines jeden Einzelnen in Familie, Arbeitsplatz und übrigem sozialem Umfeld zu erhalten. Aktivität und Partizipation von MS-Patient/innen können in der Rehabilitation gebessert werden, bestimmte Formen der Beeinträchtigung sind einer Therapie aber zugänglicher als andere.
