Abstract
Liposuction of the upper extremities requires a careful examination and evaluation of the patient. The authors describe the various problems of liposuction of the upper extremity, the surgical technique, and the postoperative care. Retraction of the skin of the arm may represent a direct relationship to the disposition and concentration of dermal collagen fibers associated with elastin.
