Alternative Therapieverfahren bei Lungenkarzinom und Lungenmetastasen

Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahren haben sich neben der Chirurgie und der konventionellen Strahlentherapie alternative lokale Therapieverfahren entwickelt. Hier sind besonders die stereotaktische Strahlentherapie („stereotactic body radiotherapy“, SRBT) und die Radiofrequenzablation (RFA) herauszuheben. Diese neuen Verfahren sind dabei, ihren Stellenwert als ergänzendes Therapieangebot zu finden. Weitere Verfahren, wie etwa die Chemoembolisation, sind weniger verbreitet.
