Zusammenfassung
Auch wenn Unternehmenskrisen durchaus konstruktive Wirkungen entfalten können, so sind sie häufig mit gravierenden destruktiven Wirkungen verbunden. Hierunter ist insbesondere die Erosion von Vertrauen zwischen dem Krisenunternehmen und dessen internen sowie externen Stakeholdern – wie Mitarbeitern, Eigen- und Fremdkapitalgebern, Lieferanten oder Kunden – in Form eines komplexen Ursache-/Wirkungsgeflechts zu subsummieren. Dies führt zum einen in vielen Fällen dazu, dass wesentliche Stakeholder, deren Unterstützung und Ressourcen gerade zur Bewältigung der Unternehmenskrise überlebenskritisch sind, diese verweigern. Zum anderen können jedoch auch Vertrauensbrüche zwischen wesentlichen Stakeholdern Ursachen von Unternehmenskrisen sein. Dieser Beitrag grenzt zunächst die Konstrukte Vertrauen und Unternehmenskrise theoretisch ab. Darauf aufbauend werden sodann mögliche Wiederherstellungsmechanismen des Vertrauens dargestellt sowie weiterer Forschungsbedarf aufgezeigt.
