Zusammenfassung

Die Nieren liegen paarig angeordnet im Retroperitoneum auf Höhe Th12 bis L3 (rechts) bzw. Th11 bis L2 (links) in der Exspiration. Die Längsachse der beiden Nieren konvergiert nach dorsal/kranial. Das Hilum renale öffnet sich jeweils nach medial/ventral.
