Abstract
A systematic review was performed to collect the existing evidence on the effect of treating frozen shoulder with oral or intra-articular medication. Significant effect was found of oral corticosteroid medication on pain and function in the short term and of imaging-guided intra-articular steroid injection. No effect was found of NSAID medication.
